Much of my recent work has featured images of boats and houses that perhaps reflect on life’s transitions, arrivals, and moorings. Over the last year, some of the boat shapes have morphed into bowls containing plants, the exuberant foliage suggesting growth, possibility, and optimism.
Whilst being carefully composed and structured, there’s also a sense of mystery and ambiguity to the paintings that hopefully encourages the viewer to project their own narratives.
